I, as well as anyone over the age of eighteen, know that as an adult, life can give you continuous blow after blow. Sometimes you feel like you're in a fight with the heavyweight champion of the world and hoping and praying he will let up. But is it for a reason? Do we have to go through all this? Is it choice, necessity, or simply the process?
Well, for starters, we all have to go through a process to be a better us. Yes, life will deal you numerous bad cards, but that is part of the process. Truth be told, most of the cards we are dealt are a direct reflection of the choices we have made over time. Needless to say, cause and effect are as simple as it is. Put it how you would like: "There is always a reaction to every action," or "what goes around comes around," it is all the same. We go through what we go through as a consequence of the choices we have made in life.
One thing I can say truthfully is that the wiser of the choices I have made always has a counter effect of a positive result. However, when the choices are vice versa, I tend to feel like I am left with the short end of the stick. But as I go back over and analyze what I have done and the choices I have made in those situations, nine times out of ten, the bad result usually comes from a negative response or choice that I have made.
Now I will say that all of what we have to go through is for a reason. And as a walker of my Faith in Christ, I know that he will never allow me to make such decisions, leaving me with more than I can bear. My load has always seemed to be a heavy one due to my being the person who always takes on a lot at all times. But never once is it ever more than a bear. Not to mention, each and every situation I have been through is only preparing me for the future blessings I shall receive. I, as well as everyone in this wor,ld I have encounte,r ed always appreciated a good blessing more so when they have had to work to achieve it.
In all, I have tried to stay humble. Never give up and keep pressing on. Never counting those losses as losses, merely a lesson whaon t I need to do differently on my next try. It is ALWAYS a second chance if you choose to take it. And in most cases, a third, fourth, fifth, and so on. Just count it in your press to keep going and remember, God doesn't count it against you if you win orlosee only if you never try.
Isaiah 43:18
Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.
