Perfection

Simply put.... You are gonna fall!!!! But never allow yourself to fail!
Whether you are a person of a specific faith like Christianity or Buddhism or simply a person whom has no belief in a specific higher being we all fall. I hate to inform you but we ALL do it.

I know we have all met that person. The I am so perfect I got my life together and nothing is wrong person. Surprise! That is what they look like on the outside but I can  guarantee you somewhere deep down inside their perfectly sculpted body, and behind that huge smile there is imperfection in some aspect of their life. Something they struggle with on a daily basis or thing that they can improve in their life. If not then they are not human what so ever and you need to check their battery pack to make sure it isn't low.

Pain is going to happen. Struggle is going to come and please believe that you will wrestle with something in your mind and body in every new season of your life. No matter what you believe its the laws of nature. There is no yin with out the yang. No testimony will come unless you face and conquer the test. But simply put you have to conquer the test. So always I mean ALWAYS keep pushing.

Now back to the title subject perfection. How can I communicate this with  you in the best way. Bluntly put! IT DOESN'T HAPPEN! Please believe the day you begin to be perfect is the day that you will lay your soul to rest. It is no way that we can be perfect even from a scientific point of view. Our body's are chemically trained to not be perfect. I think it was best stated by Aristotle. He believed that, unlike the inanimate of this world all things that lived and breathed had three kinds of souls.  One the vegetative souls. Two the animal souls. The last of which is exclusive to the human. The rational souls. I find this to be so true. This  is why we find it so hard in life. As well as why we continuously fight within ourselves.

Once we realize we are never going to be perfect in everyone's eyes then at that point is when you begin to love who you are.The only perfect we will ever be is the perfect that is us. Love what you are and more importantly you find purpose and self worth. This journey can go on for a long time if you let it but it can be very simple if you just let it be. Stop fighting with who you are anointed to be. We are all here put for a purpose and again I don't care what your spiritual belief is that is destine for all of us. But you will only find your purpose when you begin to love you and look inside you and not to others around you to justify you and to glorify what they do. There will always be someone out there that the world deems better than you. They sing better, look better, act better, live better. Stop caring about that and what other people do their journey is not for you.

I want everyone to say this with me... SO WHAT!!! The world may see them "better than me" but I refuse to not allow that to be the best me I can be. I am not perfect and nor will I ever be but I choose NOW to make a conscious decision to operate in the excellence that I was created to be. I will wake up every single morning with the mission on my brain and my heart to live life for the betterment of man kind. At this point I know I can only be who I was destined to be and I will work diligently in doing so.

Now my readers Go Concur your life. Get you back and become a better person while creating a better world.

Phillipians 3:12

Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.

POETRY: "My White Picket Fence Dream"

I have my own type of White picket fence dreams.

Where all  the houses look the same.
And everybody on the street knows your name.
With a  man.Who  comes home every night for dinner and Family time.
Living life so normal yet so sublime.
Doing all the silly things that you see in those cheesy love films.
Yet making love like porn stars on a whim.
Appreciating what we have always praying for more.
Knowing we have a something we will  always adore.

You could say i have my own type of White picket fence dreams.

Where on the weekends we crank the music loudly.
Party with the neighbors and get a little rowdy.
Yet we will Never miss a Sunday at church.
Cause we will know to always put God first.
Enjoying Christmas & holidays spent with extended family out of state.
And even with that crazy uncle that everyone hates.

Yeah, I have my own type of White picket fence dreams

Raising our kids to be only righteous and holy in God's eyes.
But understanding who they are deep inside.
Never allow them to suffocate and letting them live  free.
Allowing them to  validate who they are and who they want to be.
Educating them on the heritage that dwells within their souls.
But teaching them to love everyone for Who they are as a whole.

You see I have a different type of white picket fence dream.
A dream that engulfs the essence of God sprinkled with a like Martin Luther King.
One that shows my offspring that love sees no gender background or color.
Because if mommy and daddy can come  together so can many other lovers.
You see my dream is mixed with blues country sprinkled with a little hip hop.
Drizzled with R&B and jazz smothered with a little pop.
Yeah I have those dreams that a typical woman may have in her heart.
But my dreams will be to nations and move them together rather than apart.
I want my white picket fence and my cookie cutter house.
I'll be Lucy and he be Ricky my loving spouse.
But when it all boils down to it we'll be more like Adele fell in love with Common.
Have people wondering how in the world  did he end up with her "what the hell could they have in common?"
And we would just smile and answer simultaneously Love.
No-one will understand it but they'll admire our love.

Because we'll both share our twisted, yet Oh so normal white picket fence dream.
