Protection of Feminine Energy - For the Ladies

WHAT IS FEMININE ENERGY?
Feminine energy refers to a set of traits or qualities traditionally associated with the "yin" side of the yin-yang balance and contrasts with "masculine energy". It is not gender specific but can be embodied by both men and women. However, core traits are typically associated by society with women and not men.

CORE TRAITS OF FEMININE ENERGY
Feminine energy is typically described with the following characteristics:
Receptive: Being open to receiving ideas, help, or love (versus taking action or control)
Emotional: Easily able to feel and express emotions with an empathetic nature.
Flowing: Flexible without being over-structured and going with the flow.
Collaborative: Places value in connection and working together in community over competition.
Creative: Applying a nurturing spirit to ideas, art, beauty, and life.
Nurturing: Tends to care for, support, and uplift others.
Sensual: Connected to the senses—touch, taste, beauty, pleasure, and presence.
Intuitive: Using gut instincts and emotional intelligence rather than logic.

Again, both energies are valuable to any healthy person, and a balance of both energies makes life easier. Issues typically arise when you have an imbalance of energies. In today's society, women have to tap into a more masculine energy in order to complete day-to-day tasks. Causing them to neglect that feminine side of the energy. Feminine energy in action: allowing yourself to rest, enjoy nature, express emotions freely, create art, or nurture someone. Masculine energy in action: setting goals, making decisions, taking initiative, building systems.

PROTECTING YOUR FEMININE ENERGY
Protecting your feminine energy means not connecting yourself to a man who doesn't know who he is. Because he will attach himself to your identity. And his lack of power makes him reset the glow that you already had. Lack of healing makes you his Battlefield. Causing you to doubt yourself and become drained from the emotions and the weight that he puts on you. You will be in everything while losing yourself. Ask yourself: when you're with this person, do you feel more like yourself or less like yourself? A man without peace will take yours, a man without confidence will feed off of your self-awareness. A man without wealth, whether it be mentally, emotionally, spiritually, or financially, will spend yours. At some point, we have to realize that women are not a prize; a prize is a possession that you can take forcefully without the consent of the said prize. However, women are a gift and a helpmate. This is something that is given to someone deserving of it.

Men, It’s OK to Not Be OK—But Get Help

For generations, men have been taught to "man up," to hide their emotions, and to equate vulnerability with weakness. We've been conditioned to believe that strength means silence, and that asking for help is somehow a failure of character. The consequences of this mindset are devastating and measurable.

The Hidden Crisis

According to the World Health Organization, men are less likely than women to seek help for mental health issues, yet they are nearly four times more likely to die by suicide. In the United States, 75% of all suicides are committed by men. Globally, suicide is one of the leading causes of death among men under 50.

These numbers are not just statistics—they represent fathers, brothers, husbands, friends, and sons. They represent stories that ended too soon because someone felt they had nowhere to turn.

Why Men Struggle in Silence

There are many reasons why men avoid addressing their mental health. Cultural expectations often demand stoicism, independence, and emotional restraint. Many men grow up without being taught the language to talk about their feelings—let alone the confidence to do so. For some, the fear of judgment or being perceived as “weak” outweighs the pain they carry inside.

Mental health struggles don’t always look the same in men, either. Instead of sadness or anxiety, men may exhibit irritability, anger, substance abuse, or withdrawal. These symptoms are often overlooked or misinterpreted, even by medical professionals.

Breaking the Stigma

It’s time to change the narrative. Mental health is not a gendered issue—it’s a human one. There is nothing unmanly about being overwhelmed. There is nothing weak about asking for support. In fact, it takes incredible courage to confront your inner battles and seek help.

Therapy is not just for crises—it’s for clarity. Counseling, medication, support groups, mindfulness practices, and healthy routines can transform lives. Just as you wouldn’t ignore a broken bone or chronic pain, you shouldn’t ignore persistent sadness, anxiety, or hopelessness.

A New Definition of Strength

True strength lies in honesty. In admitting when things aren’t okay. In showing up for yourself and the people who care about you. Taking responsibility for your mental health doesn’t diminish your masculinity—it redefines it.

Men who speak out create a ripple effect. By being open about their struggles, they give others permission to do the same. Vulnerability, when met with support, becomes a bridge to resilience.

What You Can Do—Today

Talk to someone. Whether it’s a friend, a partner, a therapist, or a hotline, speak your truth.

Check on your brothers. Ask the men in your life how they’re really doing. Be the person they can open up to.

Educate yourself. Learn the signs of depression, anxiety, and burnout in men. Knowledge reduces stigma.

Lead by example. If you’re struggling, share your story when you're ready. Someone else might need to hear it.

You’re Not Alone

If you're reading this and you’re hurting, please know this: you are not broken. You are not weak. You are not alone. There is help, and there is hope. Reaching out might feel uncomfortable at first—but it could be the most important decision you ever make.

It’s okay to not be okay.
But it’s even better to get help.

How is one word a full sentence?

NO!
Yes, that word is a full and complete sentence. And you reserve the right to use it at any point in time. You do not have to say yes to everyone. Saying yes to everyone will cause you stress and, furthermore, bad health. Not everyone deserves her yes. Not everyone is worthy of your yes. Only a few people deserve the ability to hear your yes. Also, it is not selfish to put yourself first to maintain good health mentally, spiritually, and physically.

It took me years, almost 40 to be exact, to learn the pleasure of the word no. As a people pleaser, I always wanted to make sure everyone around me was happy. I always made sure I put other people first and never thought twice about it. Then I found myself losing hair, having high blood pressure, and wondering why I was gaining excessive weight year after year. Then I realized I do everything for everyone except myself. So I learned to put myself first. I learned that no was an okay word to use, and yes, it is a complete sentence. The pleasure of learning no has created less stress in my life as well as allowed me the ability to love myself fully.

So remember, one little word is a full sentence.

NO!

POETRY: When separation becomes realization

Trying to separate love and sex is an art that many women cannot fathom.
These desires all relate back to the days when Eve was not led properly by Adam.

When a man's touch makes it no easier by measure.
Trying to figure out if his affection is his way of showing love or just his way of trying to get pleasure.

We can say time and time again don't kiss us don't hold us let's just fuck.
But you like to misconstrue the lines and wonder why we consistently act up.

You have us thinking that you're falling in love when in reality, you just like to blur the lines.
We start to think that this is more when in reality our pussy is just the way of you passing your time.

Then, when that mom moment of realization comes that we have to cut this off because you're not worthy of what we have to offer.
You break your neck and exploit us into thinking we could take this further.

Then we get trapped in this Spider Web of Lies and manipulation
Until the day comes when the sex between us only becomes penetration.

Then we wake up from the delusion that you have set in our minds.
Begin to focus on ourselves and leave you behind.

Only for you to then beg us to fulfill that desire and relieve you of that itch.
But when we deny you and you get mad all of a sudden we're a bitch.

So what you don't realize is we've always been this bitch but our love for you allowed us to hide.
And we suppressed so much anger and pain to hold it inside.

We only wanted to satisfy our inclination for love with the sex that you yearn for.
However, now that we see who you truly are and see your cravings are no longer our burden.

POETRY: Your Water

I may not be you're cup of tea. But I'm the water you require.
Why do you need tea when I can be your water? I'm the 60% that makes up you. I'll carry the nutrients and provide oxygen that your soul needs. I'll give you the peace you need to regulate your blood pressure when the world is on your back. When you're feeling overheated and lack mental hydration, I'll be the quench that you need. Just like water to the body, I'll aid in regulating your spirit. I'll provide the cushioning you need for the falls your soul may feel. I'll help heal the wounds placed on your hearts, just as water heals physical wounds to your body.
Though I may not come with lemon and honey, I may be flavored with mango or sweetened with sugar. However, you prefer your tea. I would love to be the Gallon of water that you need to make it through life's trials and keep your heart, mind, and soul floating like a ship that you can relax on and enjoy the view in complete tranquility and happiness.

POETRY: "AND I LIVE!"

My heart is guarded from the pain you caused. Locked doors that no keys to open. Bricks being built on a wall everyday keep all the bad people away. But not realizing that because the Ghost of You Still haunts me those bricks are keeping out real love from getting to the heart that was meant for them. Realizing that there's beautiful people out there that want me. But I can't see to open up because the last time that I did my soul was taken by someone who didn't know how to handle it. Realizing that I gave my heart someone that decided to miss you. And that pain still cut so deeply that the brick wall that car is my heart Safe Haven that I know. Solitude has become the sanctuary City to my soul like refugees escaping from their land the only place I've ever felt safe in a long time. And even and my safe place I fear someone is going to come along snatch me up and put me back into place of destitute that I escaped from. So every day I live in fear that Someone Like You will come along and rip my heart out my chest again. Devouring it like the demon that you were. That they will feast on my intentionally pure spirit. However I work daily to get past the malnourishment of my soul. I pushed forward an attempt to release the emptiness that seems to linger after you left. As God is my witness I will learn to love again and Trust again and live in connection with someone again. So I release you. I release the pain. I release the fear. I release the destitute of emotional connection that you left me in. And I live!

Stess in life

At the level we are in life right now stress can be a huge factor for people. You have to remember that stress is never a healthy thing. Be quick to identify the difference between stress and urgency.

Urgency to get something done or complete tasks should never look like anxiety or unhealthy actions. Some things are Urgent and yes you may have to kick into high gear in order to complete those urgent things. However if your heartbeat is racing, your brain feels overwhelmed or your body feels flustered this is not urgency this is stress. In those moments you should stop what you're doing take a deep breath and relax your body. At that point you can begin whatever task you were on again with a stress-free mind.

The unfortunate thing about stress is it can cause so many Health complications. Everything from high blood pressure, to weight gain, to hair loss and many other things. Stress is never friendly to anyone and it does not discriminate based on any gender, race, ethnicity, or economic level. Something we need to understand is how to manage that stress. I briefly gave an example of what to do when you're stressed out above but below is a better way to handle that with more details.

A practice that I use when I'm stressed out that really helps me is to do the following things below.

1. Stop everything you're doing.

2. Sit in a chair with your back against the chair of feet flat on the ground and close your eyes.

3. Picture of place that you love to be. For me I use the beach.

4. I began to picture myself being in that place. For me I can smell the salt water, I can hear the seagulls chirping and I can hear the way it's crashing.

5. While you are picturing the space that you love to be in take a deep breath in and release it slowly.

6. As you're picturing this place and you're taking your deep breath in and out count very slowly backwards from 100. For myself when I usually get around 80 to 85 my body completely releases all of the stress that I'm feeling in the moment.

I hope this practice works great for you like it does for me. I will use this practice and really allow the stress to release from my body. I have also use this and check my blood pressure in the midst of it. And watch my blood pressure plummet down from the high blood pressure count that it would have been when I was dressing.

In closing, please remember that stress is not a good thing. If you are in a situation where you're consistently stressed please take a moment to analyze that and understand that you may need to change your environment. If you feel like the stress is causing high blood pressure or any other negative effects on yourself please see a doctor. It is important that you maintain a stress-free life and if you can't change that circumstance immediately that a doctor can help you in that time.

Why standards and boundaries are important

Boundaries
Batteries are important for yourself more so than they are for anyone else. It is essential for you to think about the things that bother you, upset you or even those things that make you happy in an unhealthy way.  Then set those boundaries for other people and yourself to prevent lack of self discipline for yourself and for others to be disciplined around you.

Putting healthy boundaries in place actually allows you to practice self-care. It is essential to maintain your self care mentally and in particular so that you can maintain healthy relationships with other people. It allows you to not feel guilty or selfish about things that you should not feel guilty or selfish about. It allows you to still have autonomy over your well-being and over your time and energy. It keeps you from hitting that burn out place that a lot of us have found ourselves in by trying to be that responsible person for someone else.

A few examples of healthy batteries for example below.

Let's say you have a best friend and this best friend is consistently complaining about their partner.  You know the partner is bad for them and you're trying to help your friend out. You're answering the phone anytime they have a rough patch. Now you've noticed they have no limit to when they're calling. The calls are coming in at anytime such as when you're sleeping, at work, or having down time that you deem essential for your well-being. when they're having a bad moment with their partner. A boundary that you may want to sit with your friend is it's okay so call me I want to be there to help you however I need you to call me between these hours only. This allows you to still be there for them but to not interrupt your essential time that you need for yourself.

Other boundaries that you can set will be for yourself. Let's say you have a habit of eating too many sweets and you noticed that your blood sugar may be higher than normal. A boundary that you may want to set for yourself is instead of snacking on unhealthy snacks like candy pies and cakes. Instead you may want to keep healthier snacks like almonds fruits and vegetables around. Still allow yourself to maybe eat a sweeter too once or twice a week. However maintaining a more healthier balance in your diet will help to bring that blood sugar down. Creating a boundary around what you can have will help your physical and mental well-being.

Standards
Having standards is a placeholder for what you expect out of life from other people and yourself and is also crucial for maintaining healthy relationships. Standards are always set in a professional circumstance but are never set and personal relationships. This is one of the biggest mistakes we can make as humans because if we have standards for how someone treats us in a professional atmosphere so that we have the most pleasurable experience working for someone why should we not have those same standards for personal relationship. There is nothing wrong with clarifying your expectations. Especially those that come from a heartfelt place rather than shallow intentions. Standards can go hand in hand with your boundaries to create the logistic aspect of expectation.

An example of healthy standards is listed below.

You made a new partner someone that you've been dating for a few months. You noticed that this person has a certain aspect of laziness about them. Then in the middle of you dating they get laid off. You see that they're just living off of their unemployment and not taking the initiative to go out and find a job. So you decide to end the relationship before it becomes too serious. You have now set a standard that you do not want somebody that depends on ungaranteed money and not trying to create new income because they want to be lazy. This is a healthy standard

Always remember that your standards and your boundaries are set by you. No one can tell you that they're right or wrong as long as they are not harming anyone. Analyze what you are once and needs are in life to make you happy and mentally healthy. Then Implement your standards and boundaries accordingly

Let it be: Too Late

Stop trying to convince that man you're worth the time and effort that should put into you. And see the time and effort that you should put into yourself. Because if he's not seeing the worth of you then he's not the one or he's stupid to see it. I will pick the later of the two because most likely that's the case. If he's not taking out energy to value time with you that is important. Or doesn't take time to do the things that are important to you just let it go. Most men don't want to open their eyes to what they have in front of them until it's too late. But let it be too late for him

The Strongest Drug

Love is the strongest drug that is out there the level of intoxication that you feel when you love someone that loves you back is indescribable. That cloud 9 feeling that has you floating and seeing Realms of life that you've never knew existed. The desire to have the next hit of their presence.. The feeling of never being grounded but never feeling like you're out of control. The butterflies and your stomach every time you see their name up here on your caller ID. The smell of your sheets after they spent the evening at your house. You're just laying and bathing in the fragrance that is them. Because love is the most intoxicating drug out there. It can have you feeling High flying with the birds. But if it ever let you down it's a roller coaster. A crash from detoxing. Trying some metal through the stress anxiety and insecurities that you never even knew existed when you were with them. The withdrawals of the love and affection that they gave you. The fear of never feeling the validity of love like that again. The hell that you experience trying to love yourself without them. So again I say the strongest drug in this world is love. So chose your next inhale wisely.
