I wanted to love you for a lifetime you wanted me for a
moment in time.
I wanted to wake up early mornings to you, you wanted for me to just do you.
I needed more from our affair, you seen what we were as staying just right there .
I seen us as husband and wife, you seen us as lovers in the night.
So I ask why lead me to believe that you are this Godly creature sent here to be my divine covenant. To sweep me off my feet and live in perfect harmony and the peace God intended for us to have. Why not just be honest with me rather than leave me to be lonely. I seen you as my other half merely because you led me to believe there was more. I know you said we would develop over time and I was ok with that because you were ok with that. And I know you said let’s take our time. Yet I never knew taking our time consisted of you between my legs thrusting what I thought was your love into my soul. You told me that I was sent by God to teach you to love. So I let you love me by making love to me. So, why? Why don’t you love me? I tried to make it easy for you to love me. And you said that God sent you to me to teach me how to be strong, because I was so delicate. So, why? Why do I feel so fragile? Why am I feeling like at any moment the slightest of breeze could come and knock my plus sized structure to the ground? You said space I gave you space! You said time I gave you time! What you said I would do. What you needed was given and then some. So again I ask why? Why don’t you love me? Why are your intentions to be with her when I gave you my all? Didn’t I touch in all the right places? Oh wait maybe I didn’t, because I tried to touch your mind and your heart. Yet it’s so obvious to me now from the lies that you told, that you don’t think or feel. You sold me a dream. Retold me the same fantasy you told her. Or shall I say retailed me, because I bought every word. But the thing that hurts the most is I let you. I can’t even be angry with you cause I let you.
I called you my boo you called me your friend. I called it love but you called it the end. I saw a future and you saw nothing but wet bed sheets. I made love to you in my mind you screwed me into defeat. I thought I was investing into my future but I let you sale me the dream. Never again!
