NEVER GIVE UP! IT IS IN YOUR PRESS!!!

Image result for keep on moving

I, as well as anyone over the age of eighteen, know that as an adult, life can give you continuous blow after blow. Sometimes you feel like you're in a fight with the heavyweight champion of the world and hoping and praying he will let up. But is it for a reason? Do we have to go through all this? Is it choice, necessity, or simply the process?
Well, for starters, we all have to go through a process to be a better us. Yes, life will deal you numerous bad cards, but that is part of the process. Truth be told, most of the cards we are dealt are a direct reflection of the choices we have made over time. Needless to say, cause and effect are as simple as it is. Put it how you would like: "There is always a reaction to every action," or "what goes around comes around," it is all the same. We go through what we go through as a consequence of the choices we have made in life.
One thing I can say truthfully is that the wiser of the choices I have made always has a counter effect of a positive result. However, when the choices are vice versa, I tend to feel like I am left with the short end of the stick. But as I go back over and analyze what I have done and the choices I have made in those situations, nine times out of ten, the bad result usually comes from a negative response or choice that I have made.
Now I will say that all of what we have to go through is for a reason. And as a walker of my Faith in Christ, I know that he will never allow me to make such decisions, leaving me with more than I can bear. My load has always seemed to be a heavy one due to my being the person who always takes on a lot at all times. But never once is it ever more than a bear. Not to mention, each and every situation I have been through is only preparing me for the future blessings I shall receive. I, as well as everyone in this wor,ld I have encounte,r ed always appreciated a good blessing more so when they have had to work to achieve it.
In all, I have tried to stay humble. Never give up and keep pressing on. Never counting those losses as losses, merely a lesson whaon t I need to do differently on my next try. It is ALWAYS a second chance if you choose to take it. And in most cases, a third, fourth, fifth, and so on. Just count it in your press to keep going and remember, God doesn't count it against you if you win orlosee only if you never try.

Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.

Is it greed or is is Prosperity?

Is it wrong to want more? Growing up in the Bible Belt all of my life you often here those around you say "Just be thankful for what you have" or "Don't be so greedy". These quotes are often followed by a child or a young adult desiring to be or become better than what they already are or wanting to obtain more than what they already have.

Why is it always considered greed when a person wants to acquire something better in life? Simply put society, especially in the Bible Belt, have been trained to "be thankful for what you have". But in reality its just a cover up for those who choose not to do better, be better or live in a prosperous nature. Weather it be working for a more fit lifestyle, getting  a better education or even a new car or house people are too lazy and by far too scared to go for it because they are either afraid of failure or afraid of the success.

Stop it people STOP IT! First stop being so scared to be that greedy person by wanting to do better. Second stop throwing the Bible in everything that a person does to be better. It is nothing wrong with a person desiring to obtain better. The problem does not come with wanting more or wanting better. The problem comes into play with the lack of thankfulness and humbleness behind that and it becoming a need not a desire. When hope and faith become a thing of the past and your successes become cockiness and greed.
No matter what religious background you come from you should always humble yourself and give what ever your successes are over to what ever God you worship. You should never allow your prosperity to be something you have obtained alone cause without your higher faith it simply is just something you gained out of happenstance verses a blessing. So always turn your blessings over to whom you worship.
As a woman driven by Christ and Biblical teachings I leave you with a few verses from the Bible:
Deuteronomy 8:18 -You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives  you power to , that get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your father, as it is this day.
John 10:10 -The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Be blessed people. I hope this leaves you with a warm and desired heart to go on and become a better you. Please feel free to comment. Jeannette
